iOS 11 was Announced on this Apple Event on 12th September, along with the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and the iPhone X they Introduced the iOS 11 and the Updates were Supposed to be Start Rolling on Devices from 19th September. Today is 19th September and many People May have got the Update By Now. Most of the People already know about the Features and must have Tried the iOS 11 Beta or the GM Edition. Here are the Top Reasons why it is Better than iOS 10 and you Should Probably Upgrade to it:
NEW CONTROL CENTER
The New Control Center on the iOS 11 is Really Futuristic and Productive. It feels more like its made for 3D Touch, you can 3D Touch on most of the Options and it feels Really Responsive. You can also add your own Widgets from Apps and Extend the Control Center.
Although if you have a Non-3D Touch Device, you may Consider not Upgrading as it won’t feel as much as Responsive.
Non-3D Touch Devices are:
- iPhone 5S
- iPhone 6
- iPhone 6 Plus
THE NEW APP STORE
The App Store on the iOS 11 is Fully Changed and it is Even Better than Earlier. When you buy Apps, it will ask you for your Touch/Face ID or Password for Confirmation and the New Interface is Even More Interesting.
There are 5 Tabs like the iOS 10 or Previous Versions but the Pages are fully Different. The Buttons are more Responsive and you may get a Better Idea by Using it.
LOCK SCREEN AND NOTIFICATION CENTER NOW SAME
The Slide to Unlock Feature on the iPhone X had a Reason, the iOS 11’s Notification Center and Lock Screen are now Combined for Ease of Usage. Just Scroll from the Top to Lock your Device and it’s more Responsive too. Although there are many Minor Changes in this as well. For Example, The Music Player Widget is Better and Optimised Now.
The Update will Roll Out for Everyone in a Few Hours, if you are Using iPhone 7 or 7 Plus then just Upgrade without thinking about Anything but if you are iPhone 6, 6 Plus or 5S User, I won’t Recommend to Upgrade Right Now, just wait for another Release as that Should be Better. For iPhone 6s or SE Users you may Consider Upgrading but for the Battery Life, iPhone SE may not be Excellent.
