The Corsair Crystal Series was Introduced in 2016 with two of new Corsair’s Flagship Cabinets. Alongside the RGB 470X, they Introduced the Corsair RGB Crystal Series 570X and it is Still One of the Best Looking Cases made by Corsair. The Cabinet is a Mid-Tower Cabinet with Glass at Top, Front, Left and Right. Yes, there is Glass at the Right where most of the People Hide the Wires, many People hate this thing but this Cabinet is Actually made just for that, not just for Showing your Components, wires too.
INSIDE THE BOX
Inside the Box, you are Supposed to get the Cabinet and a Small Accessories Bag along with Manual of Cabinet and the Manual for 3 x SP-120mm Fans. The Fans are Preinstalled on the Cabinet and they are Connected to the RGB Hub, which then is Connected to the Upper Switches with Lighting Control.
The Accessories Bag has a Few Set of Different Sizes of Screws and 5 Cable Ties and two Corsair Branded Velcro Straps all Black in Color. There are Plenty of Screws for Everything You’ll need to Install on the Cabinet and they come with Different Sizes for Your Motherboard, Fans, Radiator and More. All the Stuff alongside the Cabinet that you’ll get in the Box is Below on the Image:
The Cabinet weights about 10.28 Kilograms which is Quite Heavy, but don’t worry the Cabinet has a Great Packaging with Lots of Over Protection for Safety. The Glass is Covered with a Plastic Layer which is Suggested to Remove after you have installed the Motherboard and did Everything inside of it, that should keep the Cabinet less Smudgy as it is a Fingerprint Magnet. The Glass on the Cabinet is Tempered Glass which is Quite Strong to Sustain Small kind of Scratches, the Glasses are Held by 4 Thumb Screws on Each Side which is Really Great in Quality but make Sure you have Someone to Help which you are Moving the Cabinet as it has no Holding Points for Ease of Transport, try to gather it from the Bottom Section for the Best Grip.
The Cabinet has 3 Dust Filters, on the Top, Botton and on the Front. The Front and the Top Filters are held by Magnets and the Bottom one is Slidable Filter.
On the Top, there is a Power Button, 3 Lighting Control Switches, Headphones and Mic Slot with two USB 3.0 Slots as Well.
The First Lighting Control is for the Fan Color, 2nd one is for Transition Delay for Changing the time for the Breathing Effect of the Fans and the third one is for Different Modes that is Breathing, Color Transition and Disco.
The USB 3.0 is in Black just to match the Cabinet’s Color there is no Else Reason for that, they work Really fine with Speeds Up to 100 MB/s. The Power Button is Still White in Color, it has No RGB.
The Left Side of the Cabinet is not Covered as Mentioned Above, it will be Shown off by Glass Panel Unless you Place the Cabinet in a Place where the
Left Side is not Observable. The Left Side has two SSD/Laptop HDD 2.5′ Trays with Easy Locking Mechanism for both the Slots.
There are also two HDD Bays on the Left that also has Locking Mechanism for Installation Ease, there is a Pathway that is Detachable for Hiding out some of the Wires.
The RGB Hub for the SP 120 Fans is also Situated there.
Some of the Low-End PSUs wires may do not Reach the Motherboard as there is no Enough Room for that, I am talking about the Zebronics PSUs, that should not be any Issue for Most of you as most of the People will use Modular Corsair’s PSUs with this Cabinet.
SHOULD YOU BUY IT IN 2017?
It has been almost a Year with the Launch of this Cabinet and it’s still Rocking in the Market, once again the Cabinet is Really Fantastic for Gamers wanting to Highlight their Whole Setup with RGBs, there is Enough Room for any Motherboard and Graphics Card. It’s still up to you to Decide Whether to buy it or not, as it’s just a Matter of your Choice the Cabinet in the Way of Looks is absolutely Fantastic and it should Impress you.
There is a Cheaper Model which is the RGB 470X which is Few Centimetres Smaller than this and is Cheaper. It is not Great in Looks as the 570X.
