Apple music has been here from a While and is Probably one of the best Music Streaming services right now. In the past few Years, it used to cost Rs. 60 for Students, Rs. 120 for Individuals and Rs. 190 for Family Subscription. But looks like Apple has finally decided to lower the Prices in order to compete with its Rival, Spotify as it was just released in India.
I personally prefer Apple Music because of its Simplicity and ease of using it on my Apple Watch or PC.
Yesterday, Apple just announced the new Prices for all the Tiers and here are all of them:
- Student: Rs. 49 per Month
- Individual: Rs. 99 per Month
- Family (up to 6 people): Rs. 149 per Month

But is it Cheaper than Music Services?
In India, there are a few more Options for everyone which includes Spotify, Amazon Music, Google Play Music, YouTube Music, Gaana, Jio Music and Saavn and all of them cost around or more than Rs. 100 a month with Spotify being the most Expensive.
Also, if we talk about the UI, Apple Music has a really clean UI in both Android and iOS and it’s definitely the one you should choose of you’re on iOS. However it does not have a few features like Spotify but still those features are not worth the Price.
So basically the new Rates for Apple Music are perfect and is a lot cheaper if you plan to Pay on a Monthly Basis.
You can try Apple music for three Months through this Link to the Apple’s Official Website.
